WOW! This June was a doozy of a month for us and many folks across the US. Lots of rough news. But we did our best to keep our heads up and our wonderful customers came though and helped us raise so much money this Pride month! As we shared in our News post at the start of the month for the entirety of the month of June we promised to donate $5 from EVERY silicone item sold to our non-profits of choice. For 2022 we chose to split our donations between the Kind Clinic here in Austin, Planned Parenthood of Greater Texas, and the Transgender Law Center.
Well, the numbers are in and you all bought 991 silicone toys and small silicone items (like our Little Fellas and mini-eggs), 26 small Pride grab bags, and 25 large Pride grab bags! In addition, we auctioned off two sets of Helping Hands for a combined total of $750. So if we add up the $5 per toy and silicone item plus $20 each for the small grab bags plus $50 each for the large grab bags plus $750 for the Helping Hands we ended up raising $7475 to split between our non-profits! THAT IS AMAZING!! We cannot thank you all enough for all the support this month and all the months leading up to it! I am incredibly humbled by the love you've shown us and I'm so excited to pay it forward, especially in the face of all the rough news lately!
I went ahead and rounded it up to an even $2500 per organization on our list (I like nice, round numbers). That money is going to help people in the community who need it most and I'm so happy about that! As I do every year, I will go ahead and post the receipts of our donations in order to maintain transparency. I have blocked out personal information where necessary.
